# 8 - Power Block

I really enjoy Power Block, it is very helpful in my opinion. I have time to do my school work during the day and that helped a lot during marching band season. I think it helps everyone because if they are failing then it helps them because they can go get help from a teacher or make up tardies and absences. Students are not taking the advantage of pb, but some are. Some students use 80 min. to socialize, and there is nothing wrong with that if they are passing, do not need any extra help, and no homework they need to do at school. Pb is NOT too long, as a matter of fact, it is TOO short, I know it is only 20 min. less but that is 20 min. to get extra help, eat, or finish up homework. That 20 min. is a LOT when you actually put it to good use. I think they should be available in case someone forgets, but then overcrowding might be a problem.And then people might just go in those areas to hang out, so you have to look at both sides. Because some people might actually want to participate and others would just want to sit around and possibly cause drama. There is more than enough supervision in my opinion, there are teachers every time you turn a corner.  They are always there, but Just because they are there, doesn't mean anything. IF a child is going to break the rule they are going to do it regardless of of there are teachers or not, a teacher is a person just like the student the only difference is age. so ? I mean some kids do respect teachers while others, couldn't care less. I don;t think you should have to go if that's the case, the point is to make up absences to get extra help.,, evidently you don't need help if you can pull a 99 avg. People say you can help others, but that is why the teacher is there.. they probably have other things they could be doing. like homework for that night, catching up with friends, conferences with teachers meetings, and any other choice, so no i don't think a tutorial should be mandatory if you don't need it. No, i don't find it difficult, because it is really not that messy in my opinion. It is just a little messy.so.. no. 85 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! . i have time for homework to get help attend a meeting and socialize. with a hour and five, its pointless to even try. Not really, i mean in a way, but they really arent even that low. Just a few bad areas. My teachers are always there when i decide to go. I like the freedom i fell like im in highschool and not in elementary. No ideas, besides, 85 min. instead of 65. and the doctor note idea is not good. YOu might have to leave because someone died, a dentist appt. hair appt. other things happen besides doctor appt. that was really crazy.
